Notes
Spring-loaded chassis, shaded pole motor with spring suspension, friction wheel drive 16, 33, 45, 78 rpm, 4kg cast plate, straight tonearm with low weight for adjusting the tracking force, anti-skating with low weight, hood with sheet metal hinge and stand (initial series) or friction hinge .
ADC magnetic sound system.
Housing in walnut, white, teak or rosewood. Early version with a square shape, hood without hinges. The L75 does not have an automatic limit switch for the motor. Fine adjustment of the speed by means of the enclosed stroboscopic disc. Standard clay cell Shure M75MB. For service: Motor and friction wheel do not cause any problems even after decades. On the other hand, most tonearm bearings - made of soft rubber - have to be replaced. Loosen the screw at the back of the tonearm sleeve and pull the sleeve off upwards.
